Our store is at 2929 E 25th St., in the Seward neighborhood. We are open Tues-Sun 7AM - 2PM.
We make both cake and yeast raised homestyle donuts. They have a substantial, yet fluffy, texture and not-too-sweet flavor. We use real, fresh butter, milk and eggs, resulting in a slightly browner, crispier crust than that of a conventional commercial donut. They contain no preservatives and they are meant to be eaten the same day. All donuts are best fresh! They may be unlike any you've had before - and people love them!
Yes, we try to always have some vegan varieties on hand.
No. As we produce all of our donuts in a small kitchen on shared equipment, gluten-free donuts would not be Celiac-safe. If you have other allergy concerns and want to place an advance order, please alert us and we will see what we can do!
Yes, we bake other pastries, cookies, fresh baguettes for sandwiches, and whatever other goodies we are in the mood for each day. We have lunch boxes to go for $5, homemade soup, speciality sandwiches, and always some vegan options for lunch. We also serve coffee, tea, espresso drinks, and bottled beverages. Call before you stop by if you want to hear what's on the menu that day.
Not yet, but we hope to start in the spring.
We are a worker cooperative, meaning that employees are eligible to become owners, sharing in the decision making and any profits the business makes. We think the cooperative model encourages all of us to provide the best food and services that we can to our customers.
